From there, look for AA techniques that the game. I recommend firstly though you show the fps (net_graph 1 in console, 0 to get rid of it), just so you can see if there is a difference. Reducing the number of samples taken (from 4x to 2x, for example) is a good first step to improve performance. This means that an offset can be induced at the baseline quality level (matpicmip 0 is the highest), and matpicmip -1 ('very high') will make textures go one mip level up if they are set to be using a lower mip level in the VTF which is the case for some of TF2s world textures, and most of its very small props, for video memory optimization purposes. If any of you are wondering, this improved my FPS by about 100. This is really useful for people with really bad computers like me and for people who just really like to have high FPS for some reason. So, I cant really elaborate on this, other than saying that its current trajectory is bad, with you having to aim pretty high to get a hit at medium range. The most I could get out of it was it saying it dealt with gravity.

Setting 'high priority' for TF2 Go into your launch options, and add in '-high'. In Universal Split Screen, alt-tab into TF2 so the window is selected, then click Unlock Source engine for a new instance. If you need help installing any of these mods/cfgs comment down below and I will try to get back to you. Increase the trajectory by 20-30 I couldnt find anything about the trajectory dropoff on the tf2 wiki. If youre STILL looking for more things to increase your frames, you can always try these few tweaks. OK so to do this (make sure you have a multiple core CPU!), in the game console add this line:

#Tf2 fps increasing mods mod
This may have already been posted somewhere on ocuk, but someone helped me find a command that enables multithreading (for dual/triple/quad core CPUs) in team fortress 2 and day of defeat: source. I was told that today there was an update to the FBW mod that enhanced FPS performance.
